WHAT IS A HOAX? Have you received an email stating that you may have a virus or one that looks suspicous? Check out the list of virus Hoaxes from Symantec. A hoax is a false virus threat. These are generally just emails that pollute the Internet with junk mail. So before you warn your friends and families of a supposed threat, look it up here to make sure it isn't a hoax.
